can I use coconut extract instead of coconut liquor in a cupcake recipe?

It’s for the icing and it calls for 1 1/2 tablespoons of coconut liqueor which I cannot find at the store. Can I use the extract and how much if so?

yea the only down side might be that the y could be a little dry
