I have a box of basic white cake mix that makes 24 cupcakes. So its not boring, I want to add honey and brown sugar, and/or possibly cinnamon and chocolate chips. I know I can taste the batter to see if I need to add anything, but cinnamon sort of “expands” in the oven so I obviously need just a little of that. But what about the honey, brown sugar, and chocolate chips?

You will need to keep your basic white batter rather stiff.If you don’t decease the water/milk all the
ingredients (chocolate chips,raisins even candy pieces) will sink to the bottom of your cupcakes.It already has sugar so I’d go easy on brown sugar 1/3c.maybe then taste like you said.Honey only
1/3 c.or less its a liquid.Cinnamon is a flavor that is full bodied so you know I’d put in a little taste a little.Sounds interesting, I hope the cupcakes turn out to be wonderful.

I’m making cup cakes for a friend’s birthday party. I have to make 60 cupcakes and I need to know about how many boxes I need.

You will need 3 boxes of mix.
Each mix makes about 24 cupcakes. It should also tell you on the back of the box.

I don’t see why not. They will be dense and not as light and fluffy as regular cupcakes. They don’t rise as much either.

Add a bit of raspberry or cherry preserves or even chocolate to the middle.

Guy liked me…I moved and we lost touch…now he poked me?

Last year this guy tried to get to know me but I was shy so that made things awkward. He was really nice even though his friends would flirt with me when he was around to bother him. They would try to hug me or help me out with things while the guy who liked me just backed off. We would talk a little in class and he would glance at me when I passed him in the hall and sometimes he would wave or say something nice. One day after school he bought a cupcake at a bake sale and shared it with me when we were waiting for rides. When I got up to leave he asked if he could hug me. I let him hug me and he looked like he wanted to say something to me but he didn’t say anything. So I left. After that we never hung out just the two of us and I only saw him in class. Then a month later I moved. After I moved we lost touch. Then he poked me on facebook the other day and I poked him back. Now we have this little poke war going on haha. But both of us are really shy so we haven’t even talked. I really want to end the poke war but I dont know what to say. And if it has been a while would he even still like me? Help?

I saw somebody on T.V. use lavender once. I didn’t even know you could eat that! Lol.

1. Cinnamon
2. Fennel Sugar (grinding fennel and white sugar together with a mortar and pestle)
3. Cardamom and orange water or orange extract (go light on the cardamom though) with poppy seeds
4. Dark chocolate and a tiny bit of chipotle paste
5. Almonds/almond extract and cream cheese (or even better, marzipan paste)
6. Brown sugar and crumbled graham crackers, peanut butter and a drizzle of chocolate syrup. Then put some marshmallows on top and run it under the broiler for a ‘smores’ cupcake.

That’s just a few ideas.
