Hi Guys I bought a muffin recipe book earlier today (total bargain) and I decided to try the Rocky Road chocolate muffin. I am quite used to making Cupcakes but not muffins, however the recipe was not hard at all. I have listed the ingredients below: 225g plain flour 55g cocoa powder 1 tbsp baking powder pinch of salt 115g caster sugar 100 white chocolate chips 50g white marshmallows cut in half 2 medium eggs 250 ml milk 6 tbsp sunflower oil Now here is why I am not a happy bunny: - they are tasteless! Seriously the marshmallows have completely disappeared and the taste is really bland - it said to cook them for about 20 min in preheated oven at 200c. I opened the over after 20 min and they went immediately flat, They were not firm however the bottom burnt! - also I don't know if that's imprtant but I used a sugarless cocoa powder Do you know what went wrong? Would you have a Rocky Road chocolate muffin recipe? I though I was a good cook but now I feel really silly!

Yesterday (11-20-2008) my friend (who is morbidly obiese herself) told me that the childs father fed his 3 year old 12 cupcakes thru-out the day. Then she fed him a bowl of sugar cereal for supper. Then the child wanted the mother to fix hamburger helper not even 1/2 hour after the cereal. She did what he wanted and feed him two adult size portions of Hamburger helper. I was upset with her and told her she should't over feed him like that. That is why he is serverly overweight--not to mention spoiled, but that's another issue--and she got mad at me and didn't want to speak to me. What should I do.

I just purchased a disposable pastry bag and not only made a huge mess, but wasted most of the frosting trying to get it in the bag. I just used a spoon and tried to feed the frosting in through the top of the bag. I have a miilion cupcakes to frost and would like some assistance with my problem!! Thanks

I was in the book store looking at "Hello, Cupcake. I saw a platter of like corn and peas lookalike cupcakes, mashed potatoes lookalike cupcakes, chicken lookalike cupcakes, etc. It looked sort of like a thanksgiving kind of meal of cupcakes made out of frosting and things. I have regular store bought icing that I was going to use on my cupcakes, so I put it in the frosting bag with the tip and the coupler all set, but the frosting will NOT come out at all. Even when I microwaved the frosting and added some water, it still won't come out. Any suggestions?

See, at first I really liked him, but eventually it kept fading, and fading, and fading. Last night, I was texting him, and he was spazzing out at me for God-knows-what reason. Like I said, I've been getting sick of him. Actually, I eventually texted my absolute best friend Emily asking her what I should do, should I break it off or what? I suppose she didn't text back in time, and he broke up with me, half an hour later declaring to Lindsey that he'd liked her for about a month...? 'Nough said, I consider him a jerk at this point. But when he broke up with me, I was hanging out with my friend Sam, waiting for our parents to pick us up from the youth group at our church: we were the only people there. When I told Sam that he just texted me saying he's breaking up, Sam was SO unbelievably nice to me! It's strange: he's in 6th grade, I'm in 7th, and he's so much nicer and more mature than all the guys in my grade. Seriously: he even gave me a hug to comfort me! Haha, I can have fun with Sam too- a LOT! Once we were happy again, we decided we wanted some of the cupcakes in the kitchen, so we went in there to find only one left. We thought we'd share, but not really... in the process we got frosting all over ourselves, faces, sweatshirts, arms, haha- I practically was licking the frosting off his hands! (Good thing he actually washes his hands!) So, yeah, I like Sam... I think. But what about my ex, austin? I dont know what people would think if I went out with Sam... helpp! And no, Lindsey didn't say yes to Austin, my ex.

I'm going to use Special Effects "Cupcake Pink", does this have a developer in it? I've been dyeing my hair blonde for a while now, and have small brown streaks, will this affect the outcome of the pink? How? Also, I'm searching ideas online and so far my ideas are: -it's mainly going to be at my house and be a sleepover -we'll have a scavenger hunt at the mall and around town, maybe against a small group of guys from my/one of the friend's school and/or my older sister and her friends -make a music video to a song we like -go thrift-store shopping? i've heard it's a lot of fun to go with friends and you can get tons of weird stuff -i'm having the theme be loosely be a band that i like, and we could fake tongue rings, lip rings and doodle tattoos on each other. -watch movies, maybe classics, comedies or bad movies that we can make fun of -blast music whenever we're not watching music -make cookies/cupcakes/a cake either with or without my mom's help and decorate them -camera-whore around because i'm getting a digital camera from my parents -do a dressing game: we'll look around the house and find all kinds of clothes, accessories and make-up and sort them out into different categories by the type of clothing they are. each person will go in once at a time into a dark room or a closet and pick at least one thing from each category (separated by boxes) and then come out and keep themselves from being shown to the others. then another will go in and do the same, and the other person. when everyone's done we'll come out and judge what we look like. then we'll be all modely and put on a mock fashion show for each other and record and take pictures with it. -make smoothies Should I make upstairs (where we'll mainly be) dark and put glowsticks and stuff around? for breakfast, i had half a cinnabon [special treat! has any one read the book a piece of cake by Cupcake brown, it is one of the best books i have ever read, especially for young girls like me have have been through molestation, drugs, and plan depression she gives you strength to get through everyday. knowing that with all she went through in the long run she came out a successful lawyer who overcame the molestation, drugs, and other abuse i just wanted ever one to know about the book 2pts.

last year i had a very normal appetite. i wear a size 24 that fit perfectly and everything that i wore seemed to fit well. I bought a lot of clothes that i hoped i would still wear this winter. howver, i can't stop eating and nothing is healthy. today i had 2 cupcakes, 1 brownie, 1 peanutbutter and honey sandwich, pasta with cheese, and chocolate milk... (and it's not even dinner yet!!) everyday, my jeans are getting snugger, my love handles are increasing, and my stomach is flabbing more i would like to find a way to stop myself from eating so much// unhealthy. for me it's not that i'm paranoid about gaining weight i just really want to go back to my normal size and eating habbits. also, it's not even that i'm hungry, it's just that i love food how do i fix this problem

I'm going to send cupcakes for my daughter class. Her birthday is coming up. The teacher requires them to be nut free. I checked my local grocery, although they said they are nut free they won't give it a nut free tag either. Is this enough? Does anyone remember the chocolate cupcakes called dipsy's (i think) They were hard chocolate on the outside and had a chocolate cake like center....with either creme filling or peanut butter filling. I loved them as a kid and i was wondering if anyone remembered who made them or if they still sell them anywhere???? One more thing they came in a cardboard box and where individually wrapped.

someone special to me has a birthday coming up my idea is to do little sweet things and surprises for him throughout the day to put a smile on his face that he won't know is from me until the end of the day. Some of my friends have two or more kids, so there's nothing they haven't seen or experienced as parents. However this is my first baby and every milestone he has, I get excited about it because its new for the both of us. When he started crawling and pulling up, when he said "da da," when he first rolled over, cut his first teeth; I got excited for all of this and had to tell the world. I told my mom and as a Nana, she was excited and celebrated along with me but when I told my friends they brushed me off. They were like "meh, I remember when my child..." or "that's nothing, my child..." and I'm thinking to myself, "Okay but this is about my child and his milestones." Honestly, with them acting so blase, I doubt I'll even invite them to the cupcake party I'm throwing for his birthday. How can they be happy for him on his birthday and not any other time; why is it that people can't share in your joy without being such a buzz kill? Exactly, Hunters Mama!! Or if they don't do that, they'll say "Well thats what babies do, they have to grow up sometime." I know that, I grew up from a baby (duh!) but that don't mean you gotta dismiss my happiness. I collect miniatures to use for my Barbie House. Many years ago I bought some little mini beer glasses. They are little mugs with fake beer and foam. I think they were cake (cupcake) decorations. I want some more but have searched on the internet until my fingers are sore. They are about 1 inch high. They have to be small enough for Barbie. I have already checked tons of cake shops.
