is there a recipe for frosting for only one cupcake?

is there a ricipe for frosting for only one cupcake? or do i have to make a big batch? or maybe for two cupcakes?
or maybe a recipe for just 5 and i can freeze the rest?

Just make a big batch & eat what you don’t need while you watch “Lost”.

Frosting is nothing more than butter or crisco mixed with powdered sugar until it is a smooth creamy consistency….So if you want only enough frosting for 1 or 2 then use smaller amounts of ingredients to get what you need. If you’ve ever split a recipe in half you know what I mean. If half a batch will still be too much just cut the ingredients in half again until you get about the right amount. You can figure it by how many cupcakes your favorite frosting recipe usually covers. It can also be mixed up and frozen for later use.

Take about 1/2 c. powdered sugar and whisk in some liquid, a tsp. at a time, until it’s spreading consistency (juice, water w/some extract, coffee, etc). If it gets too thin, just put in a little more sugar. You can add some softened butter to it too (about 1 TB)
