      Laurenser7 is right! My husband and I spent our anniversary in NYC over New Year’s this year, and it was well worth the wait in line around the building! Even in 20 degree weather. LOL

      Recipe:
      2 sticks of soft unsalted butter, 6-8 cups of conectioner’s sugar (powdered sugar), 2 tsp vanilla extract & 1/2 cup regular milk.
      Add desired food coloring. This is so delicious and easy…it’s how to ice the cupcakes like in the video above is the tricky part!

      I think it not only depends on technique but also the consistency of your frosting. Either way, it looks amazing! and is so much easier and cleaner than using a piping bag!

      it took me like TWO weeks to learn how to ice like that lol !

      haha i have two cookbooks from magnolia and their frosting has soo much butter and sugar in it, but it is so delicious. their banana pudding is to die for

      its just a standard spatula. doesnt look special to me. flat bladed, with handle.
